I'm going to Bree. Again. Mister Byrge sent a letter and it sounded wrong towards the end and I can't very well feel right not going to see if he's alright. Addie, Ryn, and Neth are coming too, so don't go worrying about me or anyone else being alone. Neth impressed upon me the importance of staying together and I don't intend to go wandering off. And, I have kept my promise to you to work harder and get stronger. And, no, you may not bet a gold on me in a spar yet! Ha!
I know this is in the middle of preparing things for our errand in Fornost. Ha, it sounds less scary when I call it an errand. And it comes at a time where someone Eduwiges and Xanderian have been looking for has been found. Only, they said something about a jailbreak? You'll bail them out if they get into any kind of trouble, won't you?
Xan said you'll do as you will. When we meet up again, I want you to explain it to me, even if you don't return from that place with bruises like Edu had. Just because you can heal up faster doesn't mean... You know what I mean. And even if you don't, even if it is something you don't think I can possibly understand, I want to know what you mean by doing that sort of thing to yourself. Or letting people do that to you.
Oh, and you owe me a good hug - a GOOD one, Lif! - when we meet up again. Because I said so.

Oh, by the way, the animals was my idea. Totally and completely. Addie and Ryn had nothing to do with it whatsoever. Not at all. No, you may not turn the pig into bacon or put anything on a stick! I won't have your hide but I suspect Addie will. Even though it was totally my idea the entire time and not hers.
