The Breelander girl with the crystalline blue eyes was growing on him. He felt the music somehow was not enough of anything. Not spry enough, not prim enough, not vibrant enough, something wanted to break out of it but wasn't. Likewise, with the lyrics, which he sang to her low and soft in the middle of nowhere while she rested her head on his shoulder. It wasn't enough, but it would do for now.
