This letter is posted, by Brablo himself, to 1 Harrow Road in Barleywick. It is addressed to Reymund Appelby, so may be found (upon arrival) in his possession. The unstamped envelope bears Brablo's seal upon it. On the other side is written:
MR. REYMUND APPELBY
1 HARROW ROAD
BARLEYWICK
The letter reads:
Master Reymund,
It has indeed been a good while since we last met; I must admit that I did begin to worry for you after finding your home empty! Your letter brought me great relief, to know that you are well and returned. I trust that the incident with your relative that you spoke of is not serious, although I understand that it must have been quite the emergency to have you depart in such haste.
I cannot rightly express my gratitude for your completion of the commission. Your ability with deciphering and translation is truly something to behold, worthy of the scholars of Tuckborough. I am also sincerely grateful for the texts that you have brought to the library. Although I assure you that there is no cause for an apology, I graciously accept them into the collection. In return for such a generous gift, I extend an invitation to afternoon tea to you - do come by at your convenience!
Your friend,
Brablo Boffin, Barleywick
