Chronicle Summary
Parnard and Culufinnel; or The History of Two Brothers of the Wood, and their lives and times spent together and apart, composed and decomposed, a scattershot collection documented by third-hand and personal writings.
Chronicle Content
It is the purpose of the collector of these writings to instruct and edify, but if this is not successful, perhaps some degree of entertainment may be enjoyed, or perhaps the readers would wish to seek out another volume. However, this account provides as truthfully as possible the deeds, manners, and lives of those described, for the intention of each brother is the same, and each seeks a recounting of the truth, though they may not recognize the truth when they see it, nor appreciate the truth for what it is, if they can.
