The Mayor, he built a large Town Hall
He thought that big was best of all
By folk preferred it was built small
For small is beautiful

Just look at Hobbits all around
The smallest folk that can be found
Some old, some young, some thin, some round
Yet all are beautiful

This poem too, is none the worse
For having just the three short verse
You seldom need so many words
For small is beautiful

Hobbital Things To Do

It's a hobbital thing to do! It's a hobbital thing to do!
So many things we share in our Shire, green and fair
It's a hobbital thing to do!

To-o lie in the grass and to watch the clouds pass
while the sun shines high up in the blue
To smoke a pipe of Toby weed while wearing a comfy vest of tweed
to blow a smoke ring or two

My Ma, who was full of much wisdom
Once sat me right down on her knee
She told me it's good to be normal
And that sensible's what I should be

Though many a year may have passed now
I've found I've ignored her advice
Because all my experience tells me
It's best being naughty but nice!

For being a little mischievous
And causing a bit of a din
Is something that brings much excitement
When done with a wink and a grin

My my! Today was a busy day! It's been a couple of weeks since my last entry... Since I just started to come out and join in on all the hobbit-y fun! 

Green Dragon Fridays are very enjoyable, many things to do.. whether it's dancing or singing or reciting poetry or drinking!
