One of those rare moments; everything was perfect. What more can one ask than a quiet stream flowing by, the rusting branches, the occasional song in the air, and a maid picking Mellyrn leaves from the water?

Well, there probably have been better moments...though this would suffice for a good long while.

"Whatever project might you be need those for this time?"

"Is it...wrong to share some of our treasures with others?"

"No..."

"I by no means am responsible for a full grown elf acting childish."

"Come now, tampering with one of the great roots will do no harm to the lord and lady's house in the canopy!"

"The breeze is so lovely up here though..."

"It is even better up higher in the places meant to be at such heights."

Light can only be seen; no one can hear, smell, or taste it. The only time it would be possible to hear light is if it were an Ainu unclad. Well, that would certainly add a lot more blind elves to the list…But no, there is no other way people can sense light.

At least for most people.

A couple or so weeks after Fingolfin's host arrived in Endor...

A few of those elves sure had a hate for Fëanor's company, and somehow the conversation turned sour...

"Why don't you try spending the last several years in NOTHING but ice!"
