Homeward Bounder: Part 2

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Dogward's feet came to a stop before a low stone fence. Not far past that barrier was the town of Scary, and he could see towering past that was the sheer face of the hill the local hobbits mined as a quarry. The top of that hill was sparsely covered with grass and trees. It was also one of Dogward's favorite places in all of The Shire.

Flory missed her large comfy bed back at The Great Smials. She had awoken several times during the night due to the almost constant bleating of sheep on the fields outside.

“If only someone would put those sheep into a nice pie or serve them up on a plate with some nice taters and mint sauce so I could get some rest”

But the noise continued and Flory was in a foul mood come breakfast time but her mood improved when she saw the Lambs Kidneys and Mutton on her plate, at least there was one less sheep to keep her up at night.

The scorching pain on his leg stung like mad. Billy could only feel this horrible pain, but nothing else, all his other senses locked down. Then he felt a cold touch on his skin and all of the sudden his skin went numb and he felt pain no more for the time being – he drifted out of consciousness once again and felt nothing more.

“Uhh…?” Billy says when he woke up.

A peculiar find.

Story

The Bounders were all stood around the corpses of three men. They had been discovered at dawn by a farmer out on the road between Budgeford and Scary.  All three lay neatly side-by-side and it was not until the farmer had looked closer that he discovered they were in fact dead and not merely sleeping peacefully, each one had been felled by a blow to the head. At their feet lay numerous objects that appeared to be of Hobbit make and would in fact turn out to be the same objects reported missing from Budgeford and Stock some days earlier.
