Order of the Harp

The pillars of Music and Harp

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

It was a few of days after Vanimar’s meeting at the Pillar, a meeting that saw Lady Manadhlaer bestowed with the responsibility and office of Lady of the Pillar, an order no longer leadership. It had been heart-warming to see Manadhaler, humble and almost moved to tears, receive the insignia of her new office from the Lady Ambassador Tingruviel, acting upon Lord Anglachelm’s directive. Ealendil felt so proud and happy for her friend.

Returning to Harlond

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Maedhrathin is sulking somewhat, and not being especially talkative this morning. A crumbled letter lies on the floor next to him. He has been called back to Lindon by his cousin in Harlond, and is trying to get organized for the trip. Family duties requires him to leave the peaceful valley, though he would rather had stayed longer with Ealendil.

Letters to the Lady of the Harp, Bar-en-Vanimar

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Dear Lady Elvealin,

The work with you my lady, within the Order of the Harp, has given me much comfort and been immensely gratifying, and I have come to consider you a dear friend. It has also given my life a renewed sense of direction in my work to preserve our cultural heritage of music and prose. Ever since my mother sailed west, leaving me with a rich heritage of music from old, I have strived to honor her legacy, and it is with you have found the joy to do so.

My oath-taking: my second-most glorious day

Ah, my dear Diary. How all is changed.

On Saturday last, I dressed in the gold hauberk of the Order of the Harp and knelt before Lord Anglachelm to recite the Oath of Bar-en-Vanimar.
