While working with the Rangers against the forces of Angmar (and, admittedly, simply exploring the ancient ruins of Annuminas), Orcahlwe and I came across this view of Tyl Annun.  From this level, one can truly appreciate the city's remaining majesty, and perhaps imagine its former splendor.

Her worthless band had failed to show up consecutively now, and their absence drove her mad with fury and longing for companionship. Her friendship with Furlaf had faded, and even her relationship with Boen was going downhill. Only Cyneburga was her only friend.

The Southern Band
Chief: Tomb-robber Chief Glûragan
Location: Barad Tharsír
Description: Extremely dimwitted, stupid, and careless. A band that is easy to take items from. Mostly made up of men from the south. Has dealings with Half-orcs.
Sash-colour: Brown, with an emblem of a red goat on it.

"Admiring the banners?" asked Grant.
"I was there as we took Gwaelband and Clorhir in Annuminas.
There were not many of us, four men and a few others. Myself, Captain Lindeman, Jeric of Dale
and Master Eovind from Rohan. There was this hobbit Pebb, and a dwarf and an elf.
Gauntlet and Quiver the captain called them, probably not their real names.
The captain is planning a second mission in a three days' time, so you may want to speak to him."

The many days of riding were weighing on Jeric and he was looking forward to reaching the shores of Evendim.
Just as the bridge to Tinnudir finally came to their sight, Lindeman suddenly stopped his horse and dismounted.
Jeric stopped beside him and descended from the saddle.

Lindeman said, 'A terrible feeling overcomes me as I see that bridge again'
Turning to Jeric he continued, 'Remember how we first crossed it? In the company of Enirol Greylock.'
Jeric replied, 'Yes... I remember. That was a long time ago'
