How long had she wandered?

The fog never ceased, and the night was never ending. Carefully placing her walking stick before of her every step, she meandered the endless, rolling hills and barrow mounds. Only the occasional stone peer broke the scenery of fog, grass, and rolling mounds. She was hastily losing track of the time as she walked on and on.

In her delirium as she sees again the living, but dead, body of Saxris, Right Hand of the Black Raven, Gwynedh's poisoned mind recalls the day when her deceased master, Saxris, was to be used for the summoning of an ancient spirit, Angash, the Iron One. The Blood Lord, Morthalic, oversaw the ritual, and Gwynedh watched silently as her master walked again, though with a conscious completely different from the one the body had housed before, one evermore cold, and evermore cruel.

It has been a week since I arrived at the Eglain encampment in Ost Guruth, and through aiding in their daily tasks, as well as assistance in eliminating local warg packs an orc raiding bands, they have granted me an audience with their elder. A wise man, whom they hold in high regard and knows much of the land's history, he confided in me a lead, a possible source of the expanding corruption in the woods.

I felt someone touching me, I managed to open up my eyes as I saw Nimlith kneeling down at me, next to her stood a ranger, Randir. The two carried me to the camp in Gil-Giliath.
