Winds of renewal

"For my kind, the years pass by so slowly, but for mortals, they are as fast as a blink of an eye. We celebrate our own Yestare, yet to the Secondborn, it is as if each new year brings with it promises of renewal, in ways I barely comprehend. I do know however, that for each of us an age is ending, and a new one is beginning. May it bring renewal to all of us"

the northerly wind

"Seasons always turn, as sure as the passing of time, and in a way they are like us, slow to change and forever tied to this world... Iavas brings with it a pale gold light that meets with Hrive's cold blue, brought about by the northerly wind blowing from the far north to the Iron Hills. It is also one more current to add in my rose of the Winds and I am one step closer to completion"

stillness

"Change doesn't come easy for the elves. Some say stillness is our undoing, and maybe so, but when I look at what was, what is and what will be, is it really bad to wish things stay the same? Such duality I find in the sky. The sky is always the same. But the clouds are not, they are ever changing in shape and form"

The easterly wind

"I always heard that the wind that blows from the East is fowl and bringer of dark clouds that blot all sunlight. I saw it for myself and yet, I also saw it being repelled by the western currents. I do believe the ill omen wind can be cleansed, one day. Malicious or not, I shall still record it in my charts otherwise my work won't be complete"

The westerly wind

"pastel colors and a sense of contentment... when the westerly wind blows from the first reaches of Ered Luin it is as if I could get a glimpse of how the sky looked like in Beleriand... and I am one step closer to completing my rose of the winds"

Andune

"There are many parallels between elves and the sunset, mostly used by other races to mark the time we either leave Middle Earth or fade... but why does it have to be so sad? Sunsets are beautiful, it is the encounter of daylight with moonlight, where the sky is blue but the clouds like fiery feathers. I see no sadness in it"

Tranquility

What type of content is this?:

"I have heard from my elders about the tumultuous times that our kind faced in ages past. While in this late age we have our own troubles, I feel like there is always an underlying tranquility that awaits after the storm, like the light grey clouds that roll in the sky"

Another kind of flaming eye

What type of content is this?:

"I hear people talk about the "flaming eye" a lot, referring to the appearance of the Dark Lord. But there is another flaming eye, older than the current Dark Lord, one that does not seek to destroy, instead nurture life, one which is not evil but good, one which is beautiful, not terrifying. We see it every day peeking out of the clouds and we call it Sun, not Sauron"

Philosophy and pragmatism

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

(written from Histealdo's pov)

Histealdo glimpsed the new "resident" of the havens standing near a low stone wall, staring at something that seemingly only he could see. He had a couple brief conversations since the young ellon (Naergon he recalled) came to be a semi-permanent resident of his home. He had no objection when his niece asked to host her friend until he made the decision to sail West. He understood, being torn himself for a time after his brother took the ship.

Duality of light

What type of content is this?:
Screenshot: General screen

"I have heard so many stories about the light of the Two Trees of Valinor, how twice a day the golden and silver light mingled in a single hue at noon and sunset... it happens too with the Sun and Moon but I wonder how pale of a reflection it is to that ancient light. Yet, I would not trade them for any tree in the world. Their pale light is what I have always known, and cherish."
