It has been many many years since the war of the ring ended....
After it was all over, Sigfread moved to join his former chieftain, and new king, Aragorn in Gondor. Here he became a Captain of Gondor after many years of loyal service to his King.
Eventually at the age of 178 he was send out for a mission to drive off some brigands. He lost his right eye on this mission.
This however did not stop him from doing his duty to his king!
But as it is with the race of men, all stories must end one day.
