No matter how much I searched, I could never find the source of the awe-inspiring northern lights. Like the treasure at the end of a rainbow, something equally fantastic must be the source of these eerie, dancing lights.

Finding the perfect angle

On some evenings, right before the sun sets, the light in the forests near Egladil becomes strange; everything appears both sharp and dreamlike at the same time. Those colours have often inspired great artists, so I thought I'd do a little painting myself. Through the trees I could even see the great river glinting in the distance, but finding the perfect angle to capture that view turned out very difficult! Before I knew it, the sun had already set and the extraordinary colours had changed to more common, nocturnal hues of blue.
