"Leena" is the only child born to the merchant, Mostern "Moe" Brookstone and his second wife, Erica. Her mother died shortly after giving birth to Leena. In his grief, he took his infant daughter away from Bree and she traveled with him all throughout Central and Eastern Eriador. As a small child, she helped him sell and deliver his wares and goods. She enjoyed meeting and making friends with new people.

At the age of 10, her father was murdered by a group of outlaws and bandits. She escaped and fled to safety. She wandered in the wilds of the North Downs for several days, scared, cold, and alone.

She was discovered hiding in a thicket by a young ranger from Esteldin named Colen. He took her in and raised her, becoming her mentor and father-figure. He taught her all the ways of the Dunedain. As she grew she became a highly skilled archer and excels in the use of throwing knives. She speaks Westron and fluent Sindarin, with no accent. Generally, she is a quiet observer of faces and people. She is not easily intimidated and will not shy away from speaking her mind.

Leena recently returned to Bree, at Colen's recommendation, to fix up her father's home which has fallen into disrepair. He also instructed her to find her balance and focus after her near kidnapping by a group of Angmarim spies. She has also been tasked with aiding Colen and Halbarad in assessing the current situation in Breeland.
