Eredian "Fox" Fainrusc
| Name | Eredian |
|---|---|
| Status | Active |
| Occupation | Ranger of the North; Fateless Wanderer. |
| Age | Early forties, though he would look to be in his early twenties. |
| Race | Man |
|---|---|
| Residence | Aeirillen's spare room. |
| Kinship |
| Outward Appearance | The 'Fox' is a fairly average-sized man for his heritage, standing at around 6'4", with a strong build, clearly one who has had much time to strengthen and shape himself for his work. He has dark hair which would sit messily over him, sweeping down to his shoulders, as he would usually attempt to cut it himself, with pale skin shining from underneath. Rather unusually, the Dunedain would sport emerald coloured eyes, something very uncommon for a man of his race, shining out from underneath his hood, or through the strands of his hair.
Eredian would be considered a generally handsome man, however, his face is plagued by a few scars, which would diminish from his appeal. One of which is situated down his right eye, while another is along the left side of his forehead, underneath his hair. The man would also bear a very scarred body underneath his attire, each one with a story he would be eager to tell you. His accent would make it easy to tell that he was brought up around the Lossoth, however, his speech would still be very pronounced, hinting to a more complex upbringing. |

Brief History:
Eredian, son of Eradon, is a half-blood Ranger, born from a Dunedain father, who was a Ranger of the North, and a Gondorian mother, who was a Ranger-in-training at the time of his birth. It is said that his emerald green eyes were inherited from his mother, and his facial features from his father, but only those who knew his parents would have known that for sure. He was born, and grew up, between the lands of Evendim and Forochel, however, it was mostly the latter, as one can tell from his name. From a young age, he showed great promise in archery, and swordsmanship, so much so that he had began actively going on missions with his parents at the young age of fourteen. He, and his parents, watched over those lands for a good long time, until he reached the age of thirty-seven, when his parents left to travel south, to help quell a rise in orc activity.
Five years on, he couldn't bear the waiting any longer. He said goodbye to his Lossoth kin, gathered his things, and headed straight for the most central point of Eriador, Bree. After a few fruitless attempts at searching for his parents, and making a single friend in his travels, Midhriell, he travelled west, in order to find a company who would be able to travel far and wide, which would aid him in his search. Hearing a few rumours here and there, he soon stumbled upon Aeirillen, which subsequently led him to The Fateless Wanderers, where he resides to this day, living in his Elven friend's spare room. With a strong sense of duty and adventure about him, a journal to scribble down his thoughts, and many a sarcastic remark to make, he continues to strive to make his parents proud.
Personality:
Upon meeting Eredian properly, one would see that his mind is still very young, despite his age, and the scars that would litter his body. He is a very inquisitive person, constantly seeking to soak up as much knowledge as he can. If you were ever to become someone he trusts, he would undoubtedly give his life up for your's, without question, as his loyalty can be very fierce.
He is quite an open-minded man, able to share his thoughts freely, when necessary, and never afraid to speak of his past, and tell the stories of his life so far. Curiously, he has a rather fond love for music, and if one were to sift through his personal belongings, they would find a white birch lute, that would match his bow.
Fighting Style:
Fox's preferred weapon of choice would, of course, be the bow and arrow, a weapon which he has spent years honing his skills with. Whether it be shooting an arrow from afar, or using the bow as a staff in close-range combat, he is happy. However, if he is unable to use his bow, or if he is sparring, he would adopt a rather straight stance, holding his preferred melee weapon, his sword, out in his right hand, and holding his other hand behind his back.
His sword-fighting skills would be rather traditional, in the sense that he is not one to use cheap tricks to over come his opponents. However, when the need arises, one would see that he can be very agile for a man of his size, able to perform a kip up, or a somersault, where necessary. And, if a fight takes a bad turn, and he is disarmed, he would use his hidden hand to rather quickly unsheathe his dagger, closing the distance to his opponent to be at his throat within the blink of an eye, a tactic he is rather proficient at now.
Currently:
The Ranger is now forty-three springs old, and still considers himself in the ranks of The Black Steel, still under oath to Fiontann. Having reunited with the group as they traveled north, he left a simple life within the walls of Bree to once again travel the world, living up to his life-oath.
