Finally, we are on the move.
Today, Fiontann gathered us round in the main hall to tell us of the threat that now potentially faces us, from these Dourhand Dwarves, to the tomb raiders in Evendim, all the way to the Iron Crown itself. We were allocated into small groups, and given different tasks to do within the next few days. The little group this one is a part of, consists of him, Sigfread, Arthasdir, and Mathildah. One won't reveal too much yet, but he shall take this little journal with him, and document everything he sees! He looks forwards to exploring the world, very much so.
On another, and equally light note, one went on another walk with Mathildah this evening, after Aeirillen gave him a bottle of wine and told him to go share it with her. We wandered around this cavern, and found a few nice spots to settle, but eventually stopped by a grand waterfall. We shared the drink, and this one told her many tales of his people's history, much to her delight, and subsequently, mine. This one realizes he has began to mention her on a regular basis. Is this good or bad? Who knows. But, he took Arthasdir's advice, and told her what he was thinking, and his intentions, and, to his surprise, she thanked him, told him he was an "amazing man", and scampered off quickly, flushing crimson.
One enjoys these encounters with her, they make him feel so young, and bewildered. Is this what his father meant by 'finding a woman'? If so, then he certainly enjoys it. One must ask Arthasdir more questions on this matter, so that he doesn't mess anything up. Life has changed so much from Forochel. One is beginning to feel less like the hardened Ranger, that Sigfread referred to him as, and more like an adventurous young man, ready to see whatever the world has to offer. But, he knows his duties, to his kin and to his new company, must always come first, no matter what the cost.
However, one certainly is looking forwards to his next encounter with her..
