Gone

That moment seemed to terrifyingly unrealistic to her now, as she swayed, glued on the spot, her eyes refusing to register the sight before her, and her mind absolutely in chaos, confusion, and disarray.

Gone. All gone.

What had she done wrong this time? It all seemed so dreamy and hazy now, and her knees were shaking from horror, guilt, anger, and sadness. Rooted she stood there, staring at the spot where her sister's horse and she herself had been before she rode out.
To find adventure.
All she wanted now was nothing more than to see her sister. She never meant to hurt her like this, but she couldn't understand why her sister had taken offense at her argument. Perhaps she was too moody after all. But she wondered now. Could she perhaps follow her twin to Rivendell? What would happen to Carlotta? She heard the Trollshaws weren't safe by night... fear gnawed her mind now as she thought of all the dreadful things that could happen to her twin, but no. She could not follow her sister. She was too weak and too frail to follow her like this.

For now, she was simply heartbroken.
