Finding a way Past

Gæded and the company stood upon the ridge, looking down upon the undead. There were about forty of the creatures. The smell of iron filled the shieldmaiden's nose from here, mingled with the stomach churning smell of rotting flesh, although that was a little fainter. Bregeswith spotted two ways around, the north-west and the south-west. Gæded decided to take the north-west route, as it would be quicker and addtionally there were more wights that way, which would allow the group to see how the wights reacted.

As the company made their way down towards the wights, Gæded felt ever so slightly that she was being watched, but she dismissed it, trying to focus on the plan... Little did she know, but the group was indeed being watched...
