Lore of the Past, Battle of Fornost

The company rode out of Fornost idly, taking the time to rest while making their way back to Bree and the village for a much deserved rest. As soon as the reached the outskirts of Bree Fiontann left Mornenion in charge and galloped back in full speed setting course for the Scholar’s Stair.

He reached the Archives and stepped inside, making his way over to Dalton Willow, he kept the book they found in the Deadmen’s Dike out of anyone’s sight as any knowledge of it may prove fatal and Fion knows it well.

-Good day.

-Oh, you’re back, good day. I suppose you need something.

-As a matter of fact I do, what can you tell me about Fornost and what transpired there in he past?

-You better see for yourself as that is all I know myself.

The man then got up and produced some parchments that recount an old story.

-They want to bring him back... the Scholar muttered in terror.

Fiontann read and then took them with him to The Thirsty Boar.

Fion walked into the Inn decisively and gave a sealed envelope to Bil the barkeep/

-Give these to Gaeded, only to her.

He took the book they found in the Fort and rode to Thorin's Gate.
