Long after the Battle of Pelennor Fields The Forngarmo would find herself sitting by a bonfire in The Camp of The Host. There, she would guide her own thoughts towards her home and all the events that transpired in her life. She didn't know what awaits her in the end. Her thoughts wandered from the enemy camp, in which she was held in the days of youth, where her chieftain found her, then to the battles of old. Somehow she focused on her parents and this was the thing that increased her faith. She also thought of the one she loved since the very beginning. But did Faerollas still remember her? She haven't seen him for a long time. This was one more thing that made her desire to come back to the North stronger. After a while her thoughts focused on The Red Company. Were her companions of old alright? She focused herself even more: Nanteana, Radhril, Carrenhil. Were they good? And what if she will not see them again? She shook of the reverie. And then focused on the others of her kin. What about Atharan, Turchiron or the others? She didn't knew them much but still they mattered for her. Then someone else has stolen her thoughts. Alanza... her beloved sister. She missed her so much after everything that happened, but The Forngarmo knew that she was long gone. Tear fell down her cheek as she recalled her dearest sister. Then she thought about The Shadow Walkers. What happened to the others? She started to think about all of her fellows that she missed dearly. "Gondorn... oh... he is missing for so long. The loss of Amwynn broke him so much, as did for me. I wonder if I'll ever see him again." - She said to herself then continued - "Suoma... the cheerful one, the only hobbit that always understood what was right. That actually cared. She finished speaking as she became aware of someone's presence.
- Hey, I feel like you miss something - or someone. - She heard the words as someone spoke from behind her. She knew who that was and that voice filled her heart with joy.
- I do. - She said smiling from under her mask and turned her head to look at him. - I miss my dearest elf-friend. - she said then turned her attention to the drawing she kept working on before she got lost in her own thoughts. Ornessar sat beside her and looked at her.
- I understand. Sorry this whole atmosphere over there isn't happy at all. - he said after a moment. The Forngarmo kept looking at her drawing that was almost finished.
- It's alright. For now, all of us should focus on things that bring us joy, instead of filling our hearts with sadness and worries. - She replied then kept working on. The elf looked to the side as well, wondering about her work and he then smiled.
- I agree. What are you drawing? - He asked then leaned to the side hoping that she would let him see her work. Katrandil smiled then glanced at him then at the drawing again.
- Rather who. Who do you think it is? - She asked then let him have a look on a drawing of Faerollas, that could be recognized on it. Ornessar then nodded at the drawing and glanced back at her.
- Oh, that must be Faerollas. You are quite skilled at drawing. - He said still looking at her work that appeared to be done. Katrandil put away the coal then glanced at him.
- Only if I put my heart in it. - She said then decided to give him something. - Also... I have something for you. - She said then pulled a piece of paper out of her bag then handed it to him. He took it and then after unfolding it he took a look at it. There was a drawing of them both, on the ice desert of Forochel. And the writings saying "There's always hope, even when you think that everything is lost. I'll always be there for you. Forngarmo." Ornessar appeared moved by the gift, he was looking at it for quite a while. At the same time The ranger just hid the drawing of her beloved in her bag then turned her attention to her kin gathered around, and then to the fire. After a moment The elf finally spoke.
- Do you know what the plans are? When will we be moving? - He asked then glanced at his ranger friend. Katrandil nodded.
- We will move to the Slag Hills in the morning. But I will move sooner. I need to scout our way. - She replied then started to gather her belongings. The elf nodded then both of them stood up, then they walked in silence towards the edge of the camp.
- Take care. May your path be blessed. - Ornessar said then looked at his friend once again, after a long moment of silence. The Forngarmo then looked back at him, after looking at the Wastes for a moment.
- Stay safe. - She said then as he replied she proceeded into the Wastes, knowing that the fate of Middle-Earth depended on her this time.
