Background

Even as Erebor lies under siege by the Easterlings and Haradrim, one small party has been dispatched to the west, to scout around the lands to which those armies should be sent once the dwarves and the men of Dale succumb to their assault.  This scouting party reached Bree-land without incident, only to have their first "incident" be an ambush set up by the Dunedain rangers.  Many of the Easterlings and Haradrim were slain, including the Warlord who led them, and few of the survivors escaped free.  Over the next several weeks, the survivors of the band gathered together, and, eventually, a new Warlord rose in their midst, Magaeus Raikavir.  Under his leadership, the Raikaviri, as they came to be known, rescued their compatriots from prison, and disappeared into the west to hide and nurse their wounds.

Now, the Raikaviri are re-grouping, their spies infiltrating Bree from unexpected angles, their raiders harassing farms and merchant caravans alike.  Though they be few, the Raikaviri are fierce and proud, and they will hand out as much destruction as they can in the coming months.

((Recruitment is done primarily by Magaeus and Acaeleus in-game, though Vasiln, as the Slavemaster, can also recruit people in by special arrangement, if their characters would ICly fall under his command.  Snubgara primarily recruits alts of current kin-members, but can answer questions or refer inquirers to the proper people.

Please note that we place certain restrictions on recruitment, including, but not limited to, what roles can be played by what nationalities.))
