The tale of the Fall of Gondolin has been retold many times and in many tongues. Elves know it well, as do the wise, yet this is part of story that none now know, for it is my part in that terrible day.
As fate would have it, three ages later, I chanced across others from the Hidden City.They would help me in the recounting of the tale, if they will.
