OOC - Author's Note:

  It was a regular day at the Prancing Pony. Guri and I had just come back from a small outing, taking care of some brigands who were hiding in the Chetwood. We had the good luck of walking in during Sansa’s shift, and she was quick to seat us and take our order. While we waited, we turned around to listen to a minstrel’s playing.

This letter was found in Deorla’s old desk, along with some others, in the Company of the East Road kinhouse.

After what happened in Esteldín, there was much to think about. My poor Guri had safely made it back to Bree, thank the Valar, but much damage had been done. I found her waiting for me at our gazebo, our safe place. Ulysior arrived shortly after, and she broke the silence.

I was returning to my home when I had heard talk of a trial in court, public, of course. It was so interesting, I had never been to a court before, more-so ever hear of one in Bree, so, of course I had to go.
