Malliel catches up with old friends, listening to their music.

On some evenings, right before the sun sets, the light in the forests near Egladil becomes strange; everything appears both sharp and dreamlike at the same time. Those colours have often inspired great artists, so I thought I'd do a little painting myself. Through the trees I could even see the great river glinting in the distance, but finding the perfect angle to capture that view turned out very difficult! Before I knew it, the sun had already set and the extraordinary colours had changed to more common, nocturnal hues of blue.

These days away from my homeland, and those when I return; make me note the splendor of my homeland. The true beauty, of Lothlórien. I was sat, 'neath a tree near Cerin Amroth, and the sky shone brightly. I looked up, from my reading in the shade; and saw what could be Valinor! Truly, Lothlórien is a place like no other!
