"You must travel with me Daerundros. I am serious." Minyelaire said, looking at me intently. I pondered for a moment, thinking, before I decided that I wished to come to this journey to Harad. In truth, I was very tired of sitting in Imladris doing nothing: I wanted to go outside again."

Thamas Lorn, 53rd day of Iavas

At last we are home!

As ever, it brings joy and laughter to be in our beloved land once more. Durthand had made preparation for a small feast for our return, and we were directed to it by a helpful elf named Pennion. It was a delightful end to our time upon the road, and we bade our fond farewells to new friends. I hope it is not long before we meet again, to share some song and talk over a bottle or two here in fair Falathlorn...I would enjoy that greatly.

Nigh Mitheithel, 16th day of Iavas

We have made good progress since leaving Imladris, just under a week ago; we are perhaps an hour's march from the Bridge over the Mitheithel.

The past few weeks has been hard on my family. Our hunts have been little productive and we are short on both food and money. However, when I was delivering a couple of rabbits to a local trader, I was asked to do a task for him. Deliver an important letter to a Hobbit in the Shire. For this, I would be given ten silver coins. I knew I would have to take this task, but I had heard the rumours of late. The roads to the Shire had grown darker and more dangerous. I would never make the journey by myself.
