Veryacano

      The young warrior stepped into the woods under dim starlight. As the fog thickened, he couldn't help thinking: ''It was foolish to come here!'' He wouldn't even think about coming here if he were not tracking an exceptionally large wolf. This evil beast -which was known only as 'Wolf of Aglon'- had made it a habit to frequently attack hunters, travelers and flocks of animals.

A sword sparkled coldly under the bright light of the moon while leaving its sheath… Nothing moved other than the soft wind blowing around them. Reiven watched the hooded he elf shouting behind her blurred vision. 

Upon hearing the news of my Son and the hand of his love being given to him by Lord Anglachelm, I have deemed it is now time to journey to Imladris and meet this Lady whom has captured my Son's heart so completely.

Before setting out from Lindon I was sure to write a letter to my Son informing him I was arriving in the near future.. that way at least he can ensure he is around when I arrive as I know his duties may take him elsewhere at short notice.

It is weeks since I did not have the time to write. Tonight it is the first of many to sleep in a clean bed, to have my hair washed and a loose robe instead of the same armor worn each day for so long, even sleeping. I will take the time to write as my thoughts chase away sleep in any case.

I am not one for keeping a diary of accounts, but recent news has caused me at least to scribe my thoughts perhaps for clarity of mind or even to muse..

My Father Elorfin sent me a letter I was delighted to receive for it was an unusual event.. he is not one for letters, he prefers a conversation and a more direct approach.

Father,

It has been too long since my last letter, I hope this letter finds you well. It is with much joy I can pen this to you, as although my recent trials have ended there is one that still remains.

As one of his last acts, Lord Veryacano lifted his punishment from my life so that I may finally be with the Lady whom I love so dearly.. Amorith. The moment passed quickly and I rode with haste to find my love, finding her on the western reaches of the
Trollshaws.. her surprise and delight were a joy to me..

Dear Father, Recent events in my life have taken their toll on me, through no bad intention I have badly let down my Lord Veryacano, a journey of great importance to him did not fair well and to a greater extent it was my own doing. I had pleaded with him that my intentions were motivated for the good nevertheless I have failed him. His anger has burned and now my punishment lingers..

The one whom I love Lady Amorith, I have been instructed for now not to see, my heart longs to see her but I must obey my Lord.
