Horses can be so arrogant!

The Quacky Chickens might not have found aid in Rivendell, but they did find a nice tree to perch in for the night with a great view of the peaceful haven.

Their new chicken friend brought them to the Last Homely House, but Lord Elrond was unavailable for an audience. It was then suggested that they speak with the horses in the stable to see if any of them could offer help.

Proof that allies can be found anywhere!
At first it was a disturbing sight for the Quacky Chickens- to a see a large chicken with human arms and hands instead of wings; but a new friend was quickly made along with a promise that they would help her gain her wings (quality chicken feed from the Shire was suggested) and travel with her in other journies one day.

If it looks like a birdbath... A kindly elf had to explain to the Quacky Chickens that not all basins full of water were for cleaning their feathers.
