Horses can be so arrogant!
"I am the steed of Aragorn son of Arathorn, Chieftain of the Dúnedain of the North. What have I to do with chickens? I wait here for my master's call... I cannot help thee in the Shire."
The Quacky Chickens might not have found aid in Rivendell, but they did find a nice tree to perch in for the night with a great view of the peaceful haven.
