Eduwiges

The water of the Bruinen was a cool and refreshing rest-stop for the Quacky Chickens after such a long journey, but it also strangely sounded to them like a herd of galloping horses. After thoroughly inspecting the water- to make sure that no horses needed saving from drowning, of course- they found a rock to perch on for the night and started out again early in the morning for their destination. 

Hearing tales of a peaceful elven haven, the Quacky Chickens set out with their new human friend for Rivendell to find aid in saving their farm. A moment was taken to appreciate 'The Last Bridge'. They had already crossed many bridges on their journey from the Shire to get to this point, and truly it was a spectacular bridge- they could understand why the bridgemaker would want to retire after constructing this masterpiece. A few fun leaps were taken into the water below- some accidental- and then they were on their way again. 

"Not lost... just a detour."

Thought to be dead, the missing Quacky Chicken was found at Weathertop, unharmed and enjoying the sights. She was reunited with her friends soon after.   

"We made it to the wizard... the wonder wizard of Ost."

Sadly, the "Friend of Animals" couldn't help the Quacky Chickens either. 

In memory of their fallen fowl friend... A moment to mourn 

The Quacky Chickens were in awe of the human coop with the sunroof... that and the fact that their new friend could change his feathers. Lavender is a good color for summer. 

While resting their feet at the Bree watering hole, the Quacky Chickens make a new friend, and he decides to join them on their important mission to speak to the "Friend of Animals". 

Though their meeting with Longbough didn't produce the aid they had hoped for, the Quacky Chickens did get to enjoy the sights of Annúminas while taking a pleasant swim across the lake, and they had fun splashing around in the pool at the Eavespires.

I love it when we're cruisin' together."
