Outward Appearance | Little about his appearance betrays his mixed heritage. Tírirandir is tall - though not unusually so for a Dúnadan, and he rarely stands upright enough to reach his full height. His face is slim and angular, framed by a beard and dark hair that falls onto his shoulders. In his grey eyes dwells a certain sadness - the weariness that seems to come so naturally to the Men of the West; though his soft demeanour proves that there is a gentle and thoughtful man behind them. He usually wears plain and practical clothes: trousers and boots, a linen shirt and leather jerkin for some extra protection, and of course a thick grey cloak with a hood he uses for everything, from rain protection to a blanket for sleeping. His weapons are similarly simple. He mostly carries with him a longbow with ridiculous draw weight and a basic bastard sword he made for himself. |

Background
Wilkin Tibbett grew up on a farm in Bree-land as the son of a tool-maker. He and his twin sister Ava did not know about their true heritage until they were fifteen and a mysterious man by the name of Halbarad appeared at their father's funeral, offering their family a refuge with the Dúnedain of the North in regret of some unknown wrong that had been done to them in the past.
The revelation changed the trajectory of his life. Being now brought up among this secretive and close-knit people, he tried to find out more about his ancestry and his father's link to the Dúnedain - but only ended up with more questions than answers. Things didn't add up: there were gaps, men who would abandon the cause or getting cast out for other reasons; a fact that awakened in him the weird suspicion that his family - and in turn himself - must be cursed in some way.
Despite all, he was readily accepted as kin by the Rangers of the North, and soon went by the Sindarin name his father had given him in tribute to his ancestry - Tírirandir, the wandering watcher. He found friends, received training, and after a couple years of mentorship under the wings of fellow ranger Aranarion, he eventually took the Oath to serve Chieftain Aragorn and his claim to the throne alongside his brethren. In his ranging duty he was often drawn to Cardolan, a land which, due to his father's tales, he felt a particular connection to.
When in 3019 T.A. Galadriel's message reached Halbarad and the Rangers, he was more than ready to join the Grey Company and its quest to travel south to Aragorn's aid. He did not know yet that this quest would lead him onto three battlefields; far beyond the borders of his strength and capability, and into the deepest depths, both literally and figuratively.
