About her:

One of the Ñoldor, Lávarnis was born in the First Age, the second child of Armon and Liltamë after her elder brother Árion. The family lived in the White City of Gondolin until its destruction.

They wandered, seeking refuge and travelling with a small cluster of the remaining Ñoldor until High King Gil-galad founded Lindon. When the time called for the Last Alliance of Elves and Men to form, Lávarnis and her brother both took up arms at the side of their king - they both suffered mental and physical wounds during the conflict, with Árion's being far more severe than his younger sister's; it was deemed that there was no choice but for him to make for the Undying Lands of Valinor.

He sailed West along with his parents, but Lávarnis remained in Middle-earth; she would not have the sacrifice of not just the High King Gil-galad, but all her kin who perished in that dreadful battle, be in vain. The solemn vow she made after her family's departure to Valinor is that the shadow of the Enemy will be eradicated from Mordor for good before she boards a ship and joins them.

Over the thousands of years since that dreadful day, she has lived in Rivendell, enjoying the hospitality of Lord Elrond and others of her kin. Whilst her physical injuries healed, leaving only a terrible scar across her chest, the mental injuries have remained... in contrast to the proud and fierce Ñoldo who fought alongside her king, she now seems extremely shy and anxious around anyone new she meets who is not an elleth until she gets to know them. To friends, she is as warm and loving as a bright summer afternoon - to enemies, she is as cold and merciless as the harshest winter storm.

Lávarnis has never married, nor had children. She does however have a pet fox affectionately named Winimo (Quenya for "little one").

Her native/"default" language is Exilic Quenya. This is the language she writes in her diary, the language she talks to herself and to her pet fox in, and the language she speaks when she talks in her sleep (which is only occasionally).

If switching between languages during roleplay, [Q] will be used for Quenya, [S] will be used for Sindarin, and [W] will be used for Westron. By default she speaks in Quenya.

Where to find her:

She is most likely to be seen around the valley of Rivendell, often frequenting the Last Homely House; especially the Hall of Fire. She can also often be seen at Tham Angol (IC located in Imlad Gelair, OOC located in Mírband of the Belfalas homesteads.)
