Background
Born to Dúnedain parents in area surrounding Ost Forod, Kalesiar was often showing his interest in lore and knowledge. He learned how to read first letters when he was only two years old, but his parents did well to keep his knowledge of their origin somewhat limited. They chose not to reveal him his Dúnadan roots for the obvious reasons...
The servants of Angmar were sent out in the lands of former Arnor to seek and kill all that has any connection with the Dúnedain. In fear for their safety, Kalesiar's parents lived a simple life, selling potions and healing salves to the local community and travellers. They taught him how to survive in wilderness for they knew that one day he may have to rely on his skills, as the times were dire and unpredictable. So right they were, that when Kalesiar was only ten years old, the group of specially trained assasins attacked the caravan that was travelling from Esteldin to the far lands of Dale... The caravan was formed by the Dúnedain of Esteldin in order to help some of the more important Dúnedain of the Ost Forod area to escape the incoming wrath of the servants of Sauron.
In that horrifying event, Kalesiar was the only survivor, for he was small enough to remain hidden beneath the cloak of his father after he fell to the ground, stabbed by a poisonous blade of Angmar.
Kalesiar was of tough mind, not the type that would succumb to the terror he had witnessed. His surviving skills helped him stay alone in the wilderness for weeks, all until a hurried traveller, a ranger from Esteldin, didn't stumble upon him on the road to Dale one day.
With the help of an unknown Dúnadan, Kalesiar was brought to a foster family in Dale, his 'new' father being a weaponsmith, and his step mother a house maiden. He was treated well, but he never felt like he belonged there... His heart had stayed in Evendim, and some years later, the desire to return to his home will prove to be strong enough that he will embark on a journey back... back to his roots.
