| Outward Appearance | Geribras Mott is an elderly Hobbit with a neatly combed shock of grey hair, bright blue eyes, and a round, lined face. His clothing is usually a riot of color-- rich purples and vivid blues, with gold or brass buttons on his waistcoats. He is rarely seen without his cane-- made of a dark wood, with the top carved to look like a sparrow. |

Background
Geribras Mott comes from a family of cider-makers in the Shire-- indeed, there are many in the Shire who proclaim Mott's cider to be their favorite drink of all! Though he rarely is involved in making the stuff anymore in his old age-- he is a wealthy old Hobbit, and concerns himself with other things these days.
Geribras proclaims himself to be a "mathom-seeker." While mathoms are traditionally heirlooms of Hobbit-families that have no immediate use, Geri has changed the meaning to be "any interesting item he'd like to have for himself." When asked how he acquired any of his mathoms, he'll gladly spin a yarn, but it's up to the listener whether or not the story is true. He is seen by most Hobbits to be an odd, eccentric, but mostly harmless fellow. He is also a generous donor to the Mathom-house.
