Physical Appearance: Cadhrion stands around six foot four inches tall supported by a lean, well-maintained physique. He displays handsome and graceful features expected of an Elf, untouched by the signs of old age, although displaying plenty of tell-tale features found in one of Silvan heritage. His light brown hair is short yet thick and wavy in nature, often tied back into a neat ponytail. His eyes provide the only sign of age, but have lost none of their potency. A deep, sky blue; said to grow brighter in the sunlight. To say there was a lack of wisdom upon his face could be seen as unfair, but stands as more of a testament to his age. As a younger Elf, he lacks the elegance and poise of those long-lived, but instead displays signs of curiosity, mirth and sheer determination to prove himself. His voice resonates with a precise tone. He is quite well-spoken in his words, making him appear friendly in nature and very approachable.

Titles: Among his kin he is called 'The Autumn Song', a title earned not through prowess alone, but through temperament. He favours the turning of leaves and the cool hush before winter. Like autumn, he embodies transition. No longer a child, yet not ancient. Balanced between schoarly promised and lived experience.

General Attire: Aside from his more permanent features, Cadhrion dresses practically for travelling in the wild. Favoring earthy colours to provide camouflage, he wears leathers to maximise his movement and speed whilst offering some degree of protection. This is no doubt a reflection upon his somewhat cautious nature, as particularly when journeying on the road, one must always be prepared for the unexpected.

Distinguishing Features: Despite many misadventures and battles in his years, Cadhrion remains unscathed. There is nothing out of the ordinary about his appearance.

Education: Born and raised under the shade of the vast woodland realm of the Galadhrim, Cadhrion was taught how to read and write in Quenya and Sindarin; as well as the common tongue of Men. He was a particularly gifted student of history and proved himself a promising scholar. However, he decided he wanted to explore beyond ancient texts and experience the world for himself firsthand.

Languages Spoken: Sindarin, Westron and partial Black Speech.

Preferred Choice of Weaponry: Cadhrion carries with him a bow carved within his homeland of Lothlórien, created by his own hand. He also sports two daggers upon his belt, gifted to him by his father. The blades in question are exquisitely crafted, leaf-like in shape and decorated with golden patterning.

~

Beneath the gold of falling leaves he treads,

Where amber light through silver branches spills;

No scar upon his brow, yet wisdom spreads

Like quiet dawn across the woodland hills.

Sky-bright his gaze when autumn sun runs high,

A restless wind within his steady frame;

He walks where ancient shadows breathe and sigh,

Yet seeks his own bright echo into flame.

O sing of him when red leaves kiss the loam,

The bow of Lorien, the twin-leaf blade;

For though the forest whispers "Stay home,"

The Autumn Song was born unafraid.

Background

Born into a respectable family within the woodland realm of Lothlórien, Cadhrion was privileged to a relatively peaceful childhood shared with his elder brother, Tercenion. The pair were inseparable in their early years and, when not attending to their studies, spent their days exploring the forests and enjoying their tranquillity. Both siblings desired to serve the Galadhrim, to protect their cherished homeland from enemy invaders. With their fathers blessing, they were trained in combat by several reputable warriors who were charged to protect the borders of Lórien. Demonstrating a keen aptitude in multiple arms, Cadhrion proved himself to be an excellent archer, a skill which he put to later use in skirmishes against the orcs and goblins who dared test their strength. As time went by however, Cadhrion felt a calling to venture beyond the Golden Wood and become wiser to the world around him. To that end, he bid his farewells and ventured West, across the Misty Mountains into the realm of Eriador.

His journey was by no means easy, and took him many years to complete. Cadhrion dwelt in several places along the way and offered help where it was needed, desiring little as a reward. His ambition was to simply learn from the people he encountered, to understand their way of life and free them from any dangers that may be thrust upon them. Although he was often unwelcome, especially in the dwelling of Men and Dwarves, he took it upon himself to prove his devotion to the Free Peoples through his actions rather than words. As a result of this, many friendships and alliances were forged and his reputation as a trustworthy ally grew.

After spending a significant amount of time in Imladris, seeking knowledge and insight from the wise and long-lived of his kin, Cadhrion continued West towards the heart of Eriador following a similar pattern as before. To seek, to learn and to protect the innocent to the best of his ability.
