Background:

Remis Locke is a child of Esgaroth, born into a family who offered naught but neglect and hardship. His mother was a woman who clearly wasn't suited to parenthood, and his father abandoned them both promptly after his arrival. It was not long before his mother followed suit, leaving a malnourished and feral child roaming the streets seeking help which was seldom given.

This is a Letter

My duties in Mirkwood were completed in several days.

Rasheke and myself gathered supplies from the Mirk-eaves; delivering them to Emyn Lûm (Ost Galadh), then to the Ashenlades Encampment. From there, Rasheke went to his own buisness; and I, alone, traversed the swamplands back to the Anduin Landing.

The Ventris Ball

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story
Lieve was nervous as she approached the large house. It was the new home to the Ventris family and they were holding a housewarming party. Or rather a mansion-warming party. She had not officially been invited, but when her father had heard about it, he had insisted she attend, to 'show herself off' to the local gentry. She was wearing a new dress in dwarven style, made of blue silk with yellow panels and very fine embroidery.

Chronicles of Gwenbur: Entry 10

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary
I have not written in a very long time, months in fact. I have been so busy, I have not had time to put quill to parchment. I have left Falathlorn. I sold the house Telfaras and I once shared, packed whatever I could and made for Bree-land. Living in Elven lands made me feel so lonely, so out of place. With Telfaras, I felt like I belonged there. Alone, is a whole different story. I have a large home in the Foxlin neighbourhood. It is lovely, just right for me.

Bloodstains and kindness

Frowning as she bends over the book, Orlenne's face is barely visible in the light of the candle standing on the desk, her eyes glinting as she writes.

An unpleasant encounter

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary
Sat having drinks with Eoryn and Blodwynn, a friend of Eoryn's. Was very pleasant. The girls are so sweet. Eoryn is so innocent and, for living in an inn, quite ingenuous. Blodwynn is a little older and, I expect, a little wiser. We were chatting away quite happily, Blodwynn telling about her latest adventure, just an enjoyable afternoon, when a man walks up.

Journal the Eighth - Worry

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Another day or two and I should be able to move around.

The pain from my rump has lessened considerably. Now it is just somewhat itchy and dry, for all that I keep it well-moisturised. It is healing nicely, though, and no longer gives me trouble when I raise my legs. The same can be said of the mark on my torso. Now all I need is a good stout stick to use as a crutch until my bones mend.
