In the cold stone cellar he found the guest weeping on the floor, entangled in the coloured fabric of the lure traps, yelling loudly for his fiancée in a spell of drunken lovesickness. Berandon sighed and moved the lure traps away. When he lifted his guest up to carry him to his chamber, the young man wailed into the air: “Miiiinaaaaaaaaaaa!”

To conserve energy and escape some of the tedium of the long winter months, the elf spent most of the time in hibernation-like sleep in his unheated room. Even if he greatly enjoyed the company of his own thoughts, the winter was nevertheless terribly boring.

Beracula - The Keep

There was indeed a keep on the site. There were also mountain summits capped with snow and a small lake glittering below the castle walls. But the keep was more a ruin than anything else. Only a few rooms had all four walls standing. Not only the summits of the mountains but also the mountains themselves, in fact, the entire region, was covered in thick white snow.
