Niefel, the only son of Bonko and Nilla Broadbelt was born 36 years ago in the rich farmlands outside of Stock. Only son but not only child, he has a ten year younger sister, Niefas, who is the family pride and a bit of a bore to be honest. However it soon became clear that he was a bit different from his peers, not much, but enough for people to notice. For example he never did like farming, which is a very alarming sign in a young hobbit, and he seemed to prefer his own company, rather than socialize with his fellow hobbits.

She is studying the arts of healing, she is also a keen musician. I am very proud of her. She was born in Imladris, where I have taken residence for many a year, whilst my husband travels. She considers the hidden vale her home."

 Morvrethil was born in Doriath, where he served under Beleg Cuthalion as one of the marchwardens of Doriath.

He never spent much time in the halls of the king, and only once set foot before the throne, as he was with Beleg when he reported of an orc patrol encountered to the south of the kingdom.

It was there he first laid eyes on Helyanwen, as she sent him a shy smile from behind one of the screens set up to give the queen and her attendants some privacy.
