The Emberdeep Expedition to Moria

Thorin's Hall is bristling with excitement lately. The culprit? An elderly Dwarf and his crazy stories. He's recently made an announcement which has caused much division between the Dwarves. It went as follows:

“Long ago, back when Balin first delved in the depths of Moria to reclaim the lost kingdom of Khazad-dûm, there lived a Dwarf by the name of Narfi Proudmane. This Dwarf was a renowned captain among Durin's Folk, and a well-respected member of our society! As you all know, this expedition failed.

A second attempt at reclaiming Khazad-Dûm has been made, and this one is going much better! However, the Iron Garrison are in need of our help.

Recently, a map has been discovered. ‘A map to what?’, you may ask. ‘Well’, I answer, ‘To the Chamber of Emberdeep, of course!’. And what is this Chamber, I hear you asking again? Here is the answer, yet again — No one knows!

As the Garrison cannot currently spare any Dwarfpower to investigate this mysterious Chamber, they have reached out to dear Kharsi and me, Narfi's closest of kin, to find out where this map leads.

However, this journey might prove to be a perilous one. The Garrison might have gained a foothold on the Halls of Durin, but many dangers still hide within the ruins. That is why we are reaching out to all of Dwarf-kind, and all allies of the Dwarves, to ask for your help! Join us, there "will be plenty of treasure to share!

Most Dwarves have dismissed this as one of old Thrarfi's ramblings, but others are considering joining him in his adventure.
