Goodbottom, Salandril and Tarnon went to discover where leads the door in Iorvinas. However, at the entrance they were stopped by armed dwarf by the name of Wittkun. Apparently he was one of the guards for the expedition. He told the party that other dealings with the expedition are not with the foreman, but with him personally. They agreed, that he would come together with the party as their goals were similar: Wittkun was to ensure safety and defeat any Dourhands in the area and that went along with the party's investigation.
They entered the door and a long dark corridor had lead them to some fort. It was Mithrenost, as they soon found out and it was infested (if one cay say it this manner) with more Dourhands. They were able to swiftly and more or less silently kill a few guards and moved to the centre of the fort. It was important to get information from some of their superior and truly there seemed to be two of them. But the area in the heart of the fort was something evil and wicked. A few twisted fireplaces with strange green fire, emanating gloom were placed there. Both Salandril and Tarnon recognized work of the Enemy and his dark powers, as they encountered it before. Mr. Goodbottom pointed out also unhealthy amount of carcasses and skulls in the area. In a moment they decided to attack. Theere were no more than eight of the Dourhands, who were no match for the party and they all fell dead very soon, with the exception of one Dourhand chief who was disarmed and left to interrogation. Salandril started to inquire and the spoilt version of bearded folk tried to resist at first. But after a well placed hits into sensitive places and more threatening, he told everything he knew. As Mr. Salandril was also missing his cargo waggon (not only pilgrims were lost in the area), he got the information that the goods are most probably on the way to south as a loot for the bigger bosses. Further questions confirmed suspicions that there are orcs, uruks and half-orcs involved, as the headquarter seemed to be Sharmokhal, far in the Swanfleet. Then Tarnon inquired about the twisted barbed weapons and the desperate dourhand revealed truth again. The weapons were forged also at Sharmokhal and shipped to various camps.
The party gave him just punishment, destroyed the sick chimneys of the dark flames and left Mithrenost to meet the rest of the party that was bound to meet on their way from Bree.
