Thus Spoke Branalph aka He Said What?

A note given to Filegris for the eyes of Arradril:

My Bow-Bending Colleague,

The sorrows of the Eldar may be never-ending, but receiving your missive lessened my particular sorrow upon its reading.

I thank you for your kind words on the occasion of my oath-taking. Yours was a face I would have enjoyed seeing at the ceremony, but the nature of duty being what it is - and one I understand and fully endorse - I took no offence by your absence.

I know not if word has made its way to you regarding my nervous disposition before the ceremony. I must admit that I rather took Lord Tindir aback somewhat when the words of the oath tumbled from my mouth in an unbroken stream. I believe he thought I might pause once. if not several times, but out it all came like a thing of ungainly make. What was certainly not of ungainly make was the brooch I received. What a wondrous and marvelous piece of jewel craft! I cannot adequately describe it, so it is with great eagerness I await our next meeting so you may see it with your own eyes. May that day be soon!

Yours in service to Bar-en-Vanimar,

B

P.S. Quartermaster Golvagor does not like to let on, but I can tell your infiltration of Hammer Hall and subsequent admonishment regarding its security had him rather flustered. I tried to allay his frustration and fear by relating that if one is truly determined to accomplish a goal, then there is almost naught which can be done to hinder one so determined. Stealth may be your chosen method  - and one at which you excel - but I find it easier for me to simply ask a compatriot who sees you more often than I to act as courier.
