Summer shenanigans
It has been a challenging year of broken ankles, mischief and battles at Bancross. Waelden, Ethel and Yllfa have all gone through dark days in recent years. But where evil and misfortune often darken their skies and their hopes, there are also those warm, beautiful days with a bright, blue sky only partly hidden by clouds, a warm, yellow sun and the sweet, caressing wind to remind them that there are still good things in the world. With a large basket filled with mead, bread, cheese and a full roasted chicken, the family celebrates the high summer and enjoying a day out on their farm in Bancross, together with their horses, the goats and the buzzing bees.
And then there's Herne, the chicken thief.
