I linger again in Rivendell. I returned with Galvathalion twenty days ago for he desired to meet the people that live here. The reunion with my friends bring joy to my heart, but my memories from this place return to me, especially the early days when I came from the mountains cold and afraid. The news from the east and my home are bitter and I do not know if I will see my family again.

Amman úgenin i galad i estel nîn síla trî dhúath bân? I ngwaew nin óner úthand estel aen egor i lhyss en-nîn nin furanner aen? Ú-charthon. Aníron heniad! Dan i aerlinn bain a ni 'elir min mellyn nîn.
Why do I not see the light of my hope shine through all darkness? Has the winds given me false hope, or has the whisperings of the water lied to me? I hope not. I wish I would understand! But the music is fair and I take comfort among my friends.

I met Galvathalion today by Bruinen and upon our road we met Istenriel, a friend of Galvathalion's. She seems so sweet and I hope that we would meet again when we arrive in Falathlorn for she wanders west. She sought the aid of Galvathalion for an elder in her kindred was wounded. The poison of snakes was in her blood and when I saw her I feared that she would depart but Galvathalion healed her with the herbs that I and Istenriel had gathered. They rest now in Echad Candelleth.

The sun is setting. I see the guards of the Warband of Rivendell on the bridge over Bruinen. Music resides in my heart, but the air is too thick. I must gather my things for the journey home to the place of the people of Calarind. This journey has been good, but I long for my family...
((OOC: Thank you Kailey for that wonderful screenshot!))
