Well met lady Brynleigh.
I hope this letter finds you well.
Whilst on my short visit in Bree I ran into an odd character boasting about the wild flowers with in the kingdom of Rohan.
This reminded me that one of its brightest flowers have returned to its roots.
I hope to weather suits you there and the climate is friendlier then back in Ered-Luin.
It farest you well Lady Brynleigh.
And may winter bring you rest.
With friendliest of regards,
Belodin Bronzeboots of the Lonely Mountain, Envoy of the Dwarven Kingdom of Erebor.
My Dearest Friend, Master Belodin,
I cannot tell you the joy I felt upon receiving your letter. How long has it been since we exchanged a word? I cannot recall, but it feels far too long.
It seems a lifetime ago, and perhaps in another world, where we sat in the little Prancing Pony inn in Bree-town, and enjoyed warm conversation and shared kindnesses. For you always were the kindest and dearest of dwarves that ever I have met in all my travels.
Do you remember the journal you gave me? I have kept it with me always. It is a treasured gift and it will be with me until I pass from this world. Perhaps I will have a chance to bequeath it to a child of my own one day, should chance and fate be so gracious to me. I would be so delighted to share tales of the dwarf I met in Bree, to a wide-eyed child of the Riddermark.
I will send this reply to the Lonely Mountain, though I know little of its details or how it may find you particularly. I will leave earnest instructions that whoever carries this letter be sure that they know where they are going, that it will not find itself lost on the road somewhere between myself and you.
It pains me to think that you are so many thousands of leagues away from me, and that we may never meet again. If Bema is merciful enough, I hope my steps may go far enough north once more, to behold you with my eyes and give you the warmest and tightest of embraces.
May the stout spirits of your forefathers protect you and bless any works of your hands.
Your honored friend always,
Brynleigh
