Ryn had been feeling a weight growing on her shoulders since the party had entered the cave, for a moment it seemed she wasn't in the cave. Instead she was on another bridge... One lined with red robed figures speaking in hushed tones as they slowly walk towards a familiar tower. A heavy iron collar weighs her down, Is this memory or a vision of the future?
She stands in a line of collared and chained slaves dazed and confused, she felt the same age as she had been walking into the cave and her hands were already scarred. Ryn is pulled off her feet by the chain linking all the slaves together, a voice barks the word for 'move' "CARAK CARAK." and Ryn shakes her head still in shock and no commands would get her to move in this moment as she gasps for air, she pulls at the collar until it all fades away and she's back with the others again.
Ryn struggles onwards still feeling the weight of the collar and it's constricting tightness around her neck. After a long few moments she is yanked into the vision again hard and forced to her knees, the man in front of her in the line turns to help her up before speaking to her in a hushed whisper "If you do not move you will die." This helps her steel herself and keep moving... But it isn't enough and a man barks in a language she can't understand.
Suddenly the man who had helped her is struck down. One strike... Then another until his skull is crushed and nothing remains but a twitching corpse being dragged along by the chain, "CARAK." this time Ryn obeys the command as she feels the roaring heat coming from the door to the tower.
The slave behind her hisses "You got him killed with... Your weakness... You... you monster. Why can't you just die and leave us in piece." Ryn ignores this by accident as she stares forward at a familiar figure ahead
Then suddenly she feels the cool breeze in her hair and the warm sun in her eyes, Xanderian calls out pointing to the path to Imlad Gelair "Imlad Gelair is just beyond." Ryn hears this and hastily moves to take Nethrida's hand, wondering if anyone else had just experienced something similar. Her breaths raggedy as if something was weighing down on her neck and shoulders.
