Calling Breeze (Click to Listen)
That feeling niggled at him every time he sat still for too long. He'd been in Breeland for weeks, he needed to move. The green colt from Rohan, Boltin, and his impolite prancing while being ridden illustrated the feeling perfectly. A restlessness, not frustrated but beckoning. Yearning. Bittersweet for what he had discovered, standing still for so long. New company was made, closeness forged. But still he had to go. The horse understood better than the people did.
The road called and he took it. But the girls came with him this time. A new and different experience. To them, it was an excursion. To him it was a hunger that needed to be sated.
The feeling came out on the lute, in the late hours while the girls slept and he stood watch over the camp.
