Leoffrith was once betrothed to Beoda, an outdoorsy farmgirl from Bree-land whose greatest joy was tromping in the woods, and coming home with dirt under her fingernails and leaves, twigs, and flowers caught haphazardly in her hair. When she broke off the betrothal and her family moved away, he was left heartbroken. This is how he remembers her.
