The Valliant Heart: Now You Will Pay!

I then sent my best friend, Valanduir with the task to spy on that wretched man while I followed my fiancee for her own safety as I knew that the man could have paid someone to get her. I watched her from a safe distance even when she fell asleep. I kept watching over her for so long before I finally got the message by owl. The elf wanted me to come to the nearby village. And so I did, trusting that my fiancee will remain safe. Soon I have reached the emptied village and the only one intact building. I entered it as I was told to find myself in the room with The Elf, That man and Valanduir who nodded in my direction. "He still has captives somewhere. They will die if he is killed now." - The elf then said as she looked at that bastard. The man stayed silent and waited but his eyes revealed how pleased he was with this situation. Elf sighed and removed cloth from his mouth gazing at the man then. Rawndor was silent and smiled widely.  "Speak, before I drag you to execution wheel. You will lose your life anyway." - Elf said quietly. "True, but I get the last laugh here. " - He looked at me and smirked. - "So sweet innocent girl you have, everyone runs to save her." - He turned to look at the elf. - "I did for him the last favour. Horns of Power. See, I managed to send message to him." - He nodded. - "Poor Champion, always forgotten. I told him that my message will do the trick and you did exactly as I predicted. Everyone ran to save The Ranger even if she is capable look after herself." - He kept blabbering knowing that it only kept making me even more furious and eager to end him. "Of course..it buys him time to turn..The Champion." - The elf looked horrified and grieving at the same time. "Nobody looks after little champion, youngest of you all. Has anyone ever asked what she wants or needs?  Think of me what ever you want. You think you are so good and yet you all abuse 20 year old. So misunderstood, full of hate.." - Rawndor tilted head and smiled widely to the elf. - "And The Major? Her father made a good deal to find her suitable man to give a child." Rawndor chuckled.
"No..only one person knows this.." - Elf then said. I kept watching the scene, my hand ready on the sword to end it all. "Ah you see now. She sold her own cousin out. She came to see me hours before my execution..sadly she left her little bag unwatched...mm and I got friends. While you wasted your time watching her and finding me, The Champion is turned to the dark side. I did put in the note her name to see how smart you are. Turns out... You are more stupid than I thought." - He then finished his trash talk and after he had done so I sighed deeply. How can one so unworthy call himself a man? He was just wasting our time. I was calm. I approached the bastard and with one quick, strong move I broke his nose and kept looking at him. "One more word and you'll lose your fingers... one by one..." My tone was stone cold. I was unmoved by all what just happened. "My fault, I wanted speak with him and he has told me the truth. " - The elf rised up and I nodded then. "Can I finally get rid of him?" - I asked not moving my gaze from that man. "Just fill..The Champion's last..wish..tie him up on Breaking wheel and break his every bone before he dies." - She then answered and so I did. I moved outside with the man and prepared the wheel. Soon, he was on it, ready for his end. The moment i have been waiting for so long finally was going to happen. "I don't prove cruelty..nor torture..but i'm not what I used be." - The elf then took out her staff which was old and dwarven made. Strong but light. She swinged her staff and broke Rawndor's wrist with one blow. "This is for The Champion! You gave my girl to them!" - She yelled with hate while swinged more hits and Rawndor just yelled from pain when every hit broke his bones and shattered them more. I was satisfied before I joined up with a blunt stick. I used really much force for it and broke every bone on my way. I then finished up the breaking and then grabbed my sword. "This is what you get for hurting those dear to me...Now you will pay! For everything you have done... to my love and the others.." I spoke for the last time before driving the greatsword through the man's heart.
Rawndor was conscious enough to see this, he tried to shout something..but blade pierced his heart and he rattled dying. I kept the blade pressed in, watching the man bleed out and die at the same time. Then we left the scene leaving the corpse to rot as he deserved. I felt fulfilled but also cold and empty. With all of those feelings I knew that it was the time to come home. To my fellow soldiers, to my fiancee. We had whole life for ourselves now and so much yet ahead....

Time has passed and after days I was home, on the island once again. I came off the ship not knowing what awaited me. Then I spotted her. My beloved was up on the crates, watching over the horizon calmly. I approached then looking up at her. "Hello my love... I am back..." - I smiled at her then and she smiled back while looking at me. There was something wrong with the moment. She didn't come down and that's when I found out she was stuck there. I chuckled silently and then moved to help her. She looked a bit embarassed and sweet at the same time. "Um..h-hold.." - She then dropped her shield, spear, sword and helmet away to make herself lighter. I just kept smiling. The Ranger looked to the spot where to leap and aimed about where I stood so she could get a hold on my shoulder before legs landed. I caught her with a smile. "I missed you." - I then said looking into her eyes. The ranger fixed my hair and smiled."All good dear. I'm always in your heart. Where have you been?" - She asked me calmly as she kept looking at me.  "Had things to do around in Gondor. But now glad to be back.. At least a few moments to enjoy before I'll leave again.." - I smiled then at her not moving my gaze from my beloved. "Where? Can't you stay? Or I will go? With you?" - She asked then looking into my eyes. "I don't know yet, dear. Wherever they'll send me. And if allowed we can go together..." - I then answered smiling still at her. She was everything to me. "Mender always needed." - She said then embraced me tightly then I gave her a long, passionate kiss in which we remained for a long while. "I have no one else left..just you." - She then said quietly and I shook my head. "Not true, dear. But we will fix things soon... at any costs." - I answered as I kept holding her close. "How..The Champion..is dead..and its my fault.." - She said sadly while holding onto me tightly.  "Maybe not yet... I will find her. " - I then said. I knew I would do it if that is needed. "How? She is cold..elf.. told..she is..so angry and sad..Stupid me..I shouldn't have gone to talk with Rawndor." - She then spoke sadly. I just kept holding her before I spoke. "He is no longer the trouble." - I then said looking into her eyes. "I..wanted to ask him, why he did all those terrible things..to get closure..or understanding. Is..he gone?" - She said then asked me before hugging me tightly. I nodded in silence. She looked like she almost fainted and just held on hands around my neck. She was relieved and free finally. I kept holding her. "He..won't come back?" - She then asked me.
"He is dead." - I said with an once cold expression and then softened once again. I kept watching her. She seemed calmed a little and nodded then to me through tears of relief.
"Are you my dear alright?" - She asked me then, concerned. She must have spotted the cold feeling in my eyes at that moment. I nodded. "I am glad that you are free." - I spoke with my usual tone then, happy with the words I finally was able to say. "Can't believe..years..and years..all that gone." - She said quietly with happiness in her tone. "And years yet to come.." - I said with a smile.  "Better ones now when he is gone." - She said then and after that I kissed her with a kiss that lasted for so long.
