The People of the Shire invite you to their ghost hunting excursion to the Barrow-Downs!
It is rumoured that the Barrow-Downs are inhabited by evil ghosts. Well, that just won't do - we want to have picknicks there! So we shall use our proven method of ghost removal*, namely the sound of our own bagpipes, drums and cowbells and show them what for!
So bring your instrument and join us in convincing the spirits that haunt the Barrow-Downs to move somewhere else!
*tested successfully in the Green Dragon Inn, Hobbiton-Bywater, the Shire
Meeting place is 19:00 /servertime (note: one hour earlier because of wintertime!) at the West Gate of Bree. All races are invited, you can come in fancy dress or in your normal clothes, but remember to bring either a bagpipe, a drum or a cowbell to play on! (Musical talent not required.)
NOTE for the seasoned adventures: We're out to make a ruckus and have an adventure, not to actually be heroes. We're going to walk around the Barrow-Downs making "music" on our bagpipes, and perhaps there will be a surprise for those uncautious Hobbits who don't really believe in ghosts!
