A Experince in Court

I was returning to my home when I had heard talk of a trial in court, public, of course. It was so interesting, I had never been to a court before, more-so ever hear of one in Bree, so, of course I had to go. I noticed some people there that I knew, Owena, Rahvic, Gafford. Some other folk were there, some looked like foreigners, while others were Bree-landers, I believe. A man named Wulfthrud was on trial, for something I did not know, but I suspect it was quite related to Owena. Wulfthrud had claimed that "You Bree-folk are all the same. It was only three nights ago the woman fell victim to equality. A woman who eats and hordes her riches while there are men and women - boys and girls starving in your streets. Working their fingers to the bone. Your own neighbors you treat like servants." Making a plea that he was being generous, providing to a person by the name of Miss Briony. Or at least that is the impression I had received from him, he was implying that the town's view of justice was corrupt, and vile. It was odd, quite odd. Briony had known him, responding to the Honour, "I.. I suppose I might your honour. In a sense. H-he's taken to visiting the Pony of a night, where I work, you see? And once I think he chased away a bear or wolf that was worrying the sheep while I tended them on the hills by the millpond south of town." It was interesting, how he defended himself, not really helping his own case, but it certainly made him seem more guilty. Judging from what I had heard, it seems that he robbed Owena's bakery, but didn't take coin. I simply decided to leave, as, well, since it wasn't quite worth it, as it seemed under control and I needed to head home. It was good, while I was there, but hopefully that man will serve justice, for whatever he did to warrant a trial.
