Nossë Calo

Nosse Calo was founded by Melethaon in the second age, during the time that House Melethon and the refugees of Eregion had fled to Imladris. Melethaon was disheartened during this time, as his home where he honed his Ring-lore had been lost, and utterly destroyed due to Sauron. Melethaon’s friend, Ornessar and his house, had aided the refugees fleeing Eregion, and indirectly helped Melethaon by giving him Inspiration to form Nosse Calo, from which his house would be known as later on unless formally addressed. Though it was hard to get to Imladris, dealing with the Trollshaws wicked paths of nature and beasts, and it was then that the Order of the Blade was formed within Nosse Calo. The Order of the Blade is dedicated to protecting anyone of Nosse Calo and Elves all together, for long did they act(and still do) as the bastion and guard of Nosse Calo.

Melethaon was the leader of Nosse Calo yes, but he was not the head-master of the Order of the Blade, it was in fact, his Daughter Varni who had been it’s leader, until she had passed into the uttermost west. It was then decided within the scholar’s of Nosse Calo, that they had request their own order, which they had done successfully, thus was the Order of Knowledge made. It was dedication to protecting, preserving, and collecting lost lore of past days, from which may serve as a reminder and lesson to all that wish to learn of it. Many Ring-smiths, Scholars join this order and proved successful in their duty.

It was long decided after the two orders were made that another would join them. The Order of Music. Harpists and bards and makers of Poetry did they join the Order of Music, spreading hope and happiness among Nosse Calo. In the Third age, Nosse Calo had waned, and it’s members had dispersed into the uttermost west, but now Melethaon has decided to bring it out of its waning period and seek out any Edhel that would join him, for these days were most dark and perilous indeed.
